Alexander Harrison Jacobs was raised in New York, Boston, and Los Angeles. He was inspired to make his own movies after watching The Maltese Falcon and Indiana Jones on vhs as a child. When he's not directing, Jacobs works as an assistant director and frelance editor for web, commercials, and feature films. He brings an unfaltering enthusiasm to his work.
DAVID GALLIC
WRITER
David Gallic has had a number of his plays produced, including The Meat Shall Inherit, Meatloaf in the Moonlight, The Thwapping, Off Book, and Twylight Zone: the 6th dimension, among others. He is currently working on a horror comedy inspired by his love of canines and a film adaptation of The Meat Shall Inherit. David hopes to make it big so that he may keep his dog, Lou Reed, in the life he has grown accustomed.
JONATHAN BARENBOIM
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Jonathan Barenboim was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. He moved to Boston to attain his B.A. and B.F.A at Tufts University and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and then earned a full academic scholarship for his cinematography at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts where he received his M.F.A.
His most recent credits include Bad Samaritans, a Fox Studios series produced for Netflix starring David Faustino and Andy Dick, Inverse, a feature length psychological sci-fi thriller, and Wracked, a gritty dramatic short directed by Victoria Mahoney starring Noah Mills and Alexis Knapp. Earlier this year, Jonathan shot a web series pilot called Diary of a Teenage Nobody for Hulu. Jonathan has also lensed commercials for Sovereign Bank, as well as segments for ORF Austria Sports TV, HBO First Look, and the National Basketball Association.
His latest commercial for Doritos, Pug Attack, was the winner of the Crash The Super Bowl Contest, and was the top rated 2011 Super Bowl spot by USA Today’s Ad Meter.
ADAM CARVER
PRODUCER
Adam Blake Carver is currently a student at The New School where he studies the business of fim and telivision. In 2009 he directed and produced a short film entitled "Turn Me on Dead Man," a proud recipient of the Panacision New Filmmakers Grant. Jim Brubaker served as Executive Producer on the film and inspired Adam to further his career as a producer. Since then, Adam has produced music videos, commericials, and narrative short film. In late 2012, Adam produced and UPMed "Stranglehold."
MELISSA PANZER
PRODUCER
Melissa is a graduate of Syracuse University and the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. She worked as a producer for ESPN'S Content Development department, where she contributed to The ESPY'S, Red Bull: New Year. No Limits, Homecoming with Rick Reily, Her Story - Ten times over, and the 30 for 30 series. Recently she served as a Creative Executive and Producer at Kelser Grammer's production company, Grammnet.
LAUREN MEYER
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER / PRODUCTION DESIGNER
Lauren Meyer is an international production designer/ art director, and is among today’s emerging pioneers
in the creative world. She started her career as a sculpture artist, creating large environmental sculpture installations at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston to an exploration of photography from The Glasgow School of
Art, Scotland. Combining her two strengths, Lauren went on to work as a Production Designer for short films, music
videos, webisodes with HBO’s “Funny or Die” in addition to pilot TV series with Trend Media LLC. Her work has garnered significant press accolades as well as received multiple awards for feature and short film projects; “Stress Position”, “The Employer”, “Willowbrook” and “Wracked”. She has done commercial work for brands including XCVI, Wells Fargo, Vichy, Benefit Makeup and Reebok. Most recently, she was the Production Designer for two of Fox’s newest webseries, “Bad Samaritans” and “Suit Up Season 2”. Lauren lives and works between New York City and Los Angeles.
